Scooter Hicks is a Chief Investment Officer with Houston-based commercial real estate developer MetroNational. In his current leadership role, Scooter oversees all leasing and office portfolio property management, conducts principal transactions, directs all acquisitions and dispositions, and manages the Company’s private equity investment fund. Scooter previously served as MetroNational’s Chief Operating Officer where he oversaw all leasing and property management responsibilities of the Memorial City development.
Prior to MetroNational, Scooter worked as an Analyst for AIG and NorthMarq Captial where he originated large commercial real estate loans in the South and Southeast regions and raised debt and equity of both private and institutional commercial real estate clients.
Scooter holds an MBA with a real estate emphasis from the University of Houston Bauer College of Business ('11) and a BS in Finanace from the University of Missouri ('09), where he was also a member of the Tigers Division 1 baseball team.
In addition to his professional accomplishments, Scooter is focused on his family. He married his high school sweetheart and is raising two wonderful boys. He also takes an active role in the community by serving as a board member of Houston's First Baptist Church. In his free time, Scooter enjoys baseball, golf, and playing piano.
